Visit Drood Winery of Persia

Come and meet the first Persian winery in Sweden. Step into our winery in the Småland countryside, hear the story behind Drood ("cheers" in Farsi), and taste wines made from grapes grown in the high mountains of Iran and crafted here in Sweden.

Wine Tour & Tasting

• Duration: 2 hours
• Price: 350 SEK per person
• Language: English. Swedish is available on request when you book.
• Age limit: 20 years. Please bring ID.
• After the tour: you can buy up to 4 bottles to take home.

During the visit you will learn how Persian wine is made, where the grapes come from, and how history and culture are part of every bottle, and you will taste the wines with us.

Dinner at Villa Gransholm

Make your visit a full day. Our neighbour, Villa Gransholm, is a historic manor house from the old Gransholm mill community, now a small family-run hotel with tiled stoves, open fireplaces and candlelight. Its restaurant serves modern Småland cuisine built on local ingredients and the changing seasons. It is a beautiful setting for an evening of food that pairs with our wines.
